My favourite movie scene

My favourite film scene is from a film called The Warriors. The scene in question is when the warriors come up against another gang called the baseball furies. The music used in this scene is very strange in the way that it captivates the audience but at thr same time emulates the mysteriousness of the furies and their background which is never really shown.

This music and the action scene brings together one of the best scenes in what is an amazing movie.

Secondary research

To complete some secondary research i decided to look at a catalogue of childrens books that the publishing company bloomsbury have published.

From this research i found certain books such as 'Theres a lion in my cornflakes'. This book is aimed at younger readers and is very heavily animal oriented. The age group for this book appears to be 0-4 years of age

Another book i found was 'Yikes, santasaurus!' This book is a christmas themed dinosaur book where the dinosaurs are meant to be humans in order to interact with the reader. This book is also aimed at 0-4 years of age and was also published by bloomsbury.

After this initial research i also decided to look back at some of the children's books i adored as a child, one book in particular was a book by author Babette Cole and was titled the 'silly slimy smelly hairy book' this book was a comedic rhyming book that looked at different things that were either slimy, smelly, hairy or silly.

I loved this book as a child because my mum used to read it to me before i went to bed and it reminds me of when i was younger. As a result this was always my favourite childhood book and i would hopefully look to create a book much like this for my project.

In todays lesson we were only in for an hour due to an emergency teacher training day due to OFSTED coming in to check the college. This meant we were asked to complete the days work at home for homestudy, During the one hour we were in we were asked to edit our images that were drawn in the last session and then save them in order to be able to work on them and talk to our group about a possibility of it being featured in the ebook.

I found that this editing sesion was very helpful and informative as it helped me to learn new editing tools that i otherwise did not know were available to use in order to edit an image

From this scene I can interpret that the two characters in the film disliked each other. This is made very apparent as the composer decides to play a different kind of sheet music to catch the drummer off guard. This shows that the composer shows a bad attitude towards him. The music also helps to show that the drummer shows his rebellion towards the composer as he continues to play the drums when there is supposed to be a lull in the music.

I managed to complete task by focusing on the task at hand and completing the character design that was left over. I found this very easy and quick to complete as i had been planning during half term.

Try to complete at least half of my evaluation so I have not much to do on the evaluation next week.

5 of my favourite tv shows as a kid were Ed,Edd and Eddy, The Grim Adventures Of Billy and Mandy, Cow and Chicken, Adventure time and Phineas and Ferb

I think that these shows were my favourite as they were always on when I got hom from school as a kid and that the theme tunes were always really catchy and therefore made me want to watch them.
