I am teaching Subjects related to Philosophy and many of my usual assignments are long answer (or open-ended). I understood from the LeD on assessment that I can incorporate Peer Reviews (using Rubric) for such long answer questions. Can you share some of your experience in doing Peer Reviews in a MOOC?
In my regular classroom, I some time do the peer review but I have always seen inconsistencies in the grading. My worry is if the same gets repeated in a MOOC, how will I control it?

I am regularly offering a course in first year Undergraduate Physics which involves a lot of numericals. I see that many platforms do support the numerical questions, but I want to check if I can provide grading based on the steps that students did? So that even if they didn't get the final answer correct, I can still evaluate the process that they followed for solving the problem.

In the past, I have participated in a MOOC which was more content-oriented and teacher-led than being learner-centric. After becoming the part of this course, I have realized and understood the real meaning of learner centricity in an online environment. I must share that I am absolutely enjoying learning now. I would like to know- Will it be possible to design and implement a set of standards that ensure that all MOOCs are learner centric. Further, if a MOOC does not meet these required standards then it should not be allowed to run.

Is there any survey which evaluates on the completion of MOOC courses with reference to the types of participants/learners? For example. faculty, students and MOOC developers from corporate forums.

My query is regarding the following question asked in Knowledge Quiz of Week-2-
"While chunking the lecture for creating a series of LeDs, can the instructor decide to pause anywhere during the video lecture?"
I think the answer to this question can be both Yes and No.
The instructor will decide to pause wherever there is a logical pause in the lecture and that pause can arrive anywhere the instructor deems suitable.
Please tell, am I thinking correctly or not?

Is it advisable to ask learner's questions based on the data and information available on a technology platform like Padlet where any user can add or remove their posts anytime?

Just like for assimilation quizzes we get three attempts, kindly make the provision for the knowledge quiz as well since it has a 70% weightage as compared to reflection quiz which has 10% weightage, assimilation quizzes has 20% weightage and we are allowed to answer all three. Wanted to know whether the best score from the three AQ'S per week will be taken for final grading? I know this question as been been answered. However, I still feel that in a multiple choice question if two answers are correct and one is ticked wrong then the score is 0 is not correct as it is implying that the other two options are also wrong . The scoring should be considered as partially correct as the other options selected are infact correct.

Received mail for reminder of RQ of week 4 and not for AQ.

so far, in all the assessment pages, we are used to answer mcqs, choose all that apply..but not come across open-ended questions or essay type questions as mentioned in the mail for exam alerts. Also i would like to know if we will have any model-making questions. In toto, if we are provided with model question papers, it will be useful for us. Or please mention the blue-print of the summative exam.

As the result of week 3 has been declared today, there is a discrepancy in the Q 2 of AQ 3.1. The correct answer and the constructive feedback given for the question are in a mismatch. The feedback says that Exit tickets is the specific strategy where the students answer the specific questions posed by the instructor towards the end of the class. But the correct answer is given as muddiest point which doesn't match with the question asked. So kindly look into the matter. Hoping for a positive response soon.

As the results of Reflection quiz of week 3 have been declared, there is ambiguity regarding Q2 . The question states that: Which of the below reasons have been pointed out by the peers about the usefulness of the LxTs?
The feedback given states why an LxT has been chosen for this course. It does not give an indication as to which peer has chosen the LxT for research on the given theme. There is ambiguity in the question asked.
My confusion is whether we had to think on the lines of usefulness of LxTs given in this course or the usefulness of an LxT highlighted by a learner in the discussion forum.
The context in which the question is being asked is not clear. Please clarify on this.
