I don't usually complain, but there was one time when I had to. It was a Saturday evening and my family and I went to a pizza restaurant. We ordered pizza, salad, and some side dishes. We waited for a long time, but only the salad arrived. I got upset and complained to the staff. To my surprise, they apologized and explained that the kitchen was having some issues because a rat had fallen from the sewer onto a chef's head, who then ran away crying. They promised to bring our food as soon as possible and even offered a bonus gift. When the food finally arrived, it was delicious, and the gift was a huge sundae with gold flakes and pearls in chocolate. In conclusion, that day was a little upsetting at first, but it went really well, I love the staff's helpful and friendly attitude, and I will totally visit the restaurant again.

I loathe it when people complain, since it makes me uncomfortable, and that is why I rarely do it. However, there was one time where I had to make a complaint in my favorite Italian restaurant, on my tenth birthday. It has become my family’s and my own top eatery, due to its swiftness and scrumptious food. But on the day, the waitors were joking and did not pay attention on giving us our dishes, moreover, the chefs were having problems on controlling the fire, which they can do easily the past times. Because of that, we had to wait an extra 30 minutes, and as frequenters, I and my family were very disappointed to see this happen. In a furious mood, I immediately called the manager to complain about this situation. And as I expected, the manager sincerely apologized , promised to prompt the staffs later, and offered us a bonus gift. The food was brought out several minutes later, and we enjoyed the meal. For the bonus gift, it turns out to be a cup of ice cream, a dessert I often order at the restaurant. In conclusion, my tenth birthday was really meaningful, and the restaurant maintained to my favorite! Additionally, I appreciate the restaurant’s - or you could call the manager’s - offer, it has boosted my joy, and showed me the manager’s professionalism, which I expect from my favorite Italian restaurant!
