         <title>Where can you produce it? (World and Mexico)</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hydroelectric energy can be produced in any place where there is water flowing. Mostly it is <strong>produced in dams </strong>constructed for the purpose of producing this type of energy, storing and distribution. <br>&nbsp;<br>It is estimated that &gt;40GHw can be produced in México, from which only 20% of the production power is used. Yet, there is still no reliable sources on the exact amount of energy produced.&nbsp; In brief hydroelectric energy accounts for a 5% o the total of renewable energy produced in Mexico, and the renewable energy only approaches the 23% of the whole energy made and used in the country.&nbsp; (2011) It is estimated that around 12% of the renewable energy is accounted to this tyoe of energy. <br><br><br><br><a href="https://water.usgs.gov/edu/wuhy.html">https://water.usgs.gov/edu/wuhy.html</a> <br><br><a href="http://www.renewableenergyworld.com/hydropower/tech.html">http://www.renewableenergyworld.com/hydropower/tech.html</a><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Hydro-electric energy is, in fact renewable, because it uses only the power of gravity and the density of water to create energy, and it does not change the chemical or physical properties of the water it uses. The only problem is that once that the water is used, to use it again, you would have to either make another dam, or&nbsp;find a way to propel the water back into the lake it came from.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Disadvantages of Hydroelectric</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>1) <strong>Emission of methane and carbon dioxide - </strong>Hydroelectric power releases a large amount of carbon dioxide and methane. This does not only cause the plants and trees that surround this power plant to start rotting and decompose, but it also increases pollution when it releases this gasses. <strong><br><br></strong>2) <strong>Limited use </strong>- Hydroelectric power is produced by water. So, this makes it depend heavily on the yearly rain falls... Thus, only areas with high amounts of water are able to use this method. <br><br>3) <strong>Installation costs </strong>- Although the effective cost of building a hydroelectric plant is zero, the manufacturing, installation, and building of the plant is very costly. It's due to this for which many countries do not employ this alternative source of energy.&nbsp; Its construction and maintenance requires a lot of human capital and labor.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There are 4 types of methods to produce this type of renewable energy. <br><br><strong>1.</strong> <strong>Conventional (Dams): <br></strong>Most hydroelectric power comes from the potential energy of dammed water driving a water turbine and generator. The power extracted from it depends on the volume and height difference.<br><br><strong>2. Pumped-Storage:<br></strong>This method produces electricity to supply high peak demands by moving water between reserves at different elevations.<br><br><strong>3</strong>. <strong>Run-Of-The-River:<br></strong>Run-of-the-river hydroelectric stations are those with small or no reservoir capacity, so that only the water coming from upstream is available for generation at that moment, and any oversupply must pass unused.<br><br><strong>4.
