         <description><![CDATA[<div>Research Question: How does temperature affect the rate of catalyzation of hydrogen peroxide in potatoes?&nbsp;<br>IV: Temperature<br>DV: Height of the bubbles in the test tube above the line of hydrogen peroxide.<br>Constants: Amount of hydrogen peroxide, mass of potatoes, placement of experiment<br>Null Hypothesis: Temperature will not have any affect on the rate of catalyzation of hydrogen peroxide.<br>Alternate Hypothesis: Temperature will have an affect of the rate of catalyzation of hydrogen peroxide.<br>Procedure:&nbsp;<br>1. Place 40ml of hydrogen peroxide in 3 test tubes.<br>2. Place one test tube at room temp, place one test tube on ice, and place one tube next to a heater.<br>3. Put 1 gram of potato in each tube and let sit for 2 min.<br>4. Record the highest point in which the bubbles reach in each test tube.&nbsp;<br>5. Analyze results </div>]]></description>

Put pieces of potato in 3 test tube and pour hydrogen peroxide<br>2. Put each test tube in different light areas and time how long each one takes to react<br>3.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>RQ:</strong> How does the temperature of chicken blood effect the rate of catalyzation? <br><strong>IV:</strong> Temp of blood <br><strong>DV:</strong> Amount of oxygen bubbles <br><strong>Materials:</strong> test tubes, temp probe, hot water, ice, plastic tub, peroxide<br><strong>Constants</strong>: Amount of blood, amount of peroxide<br><strong>Procedure: (3 trials) </strong><br><strong>1.</strong> Putting same amount of blood into four test tubes<br><strong>2. </strong>Making the blood different temps by placing one test tube of blood in warm water, placing one in water with ice, placing one in hot water and one that is&nbsp; room temp. <br><strong>3. </strong>Record the temp of the blood<br><strong>4.</strong> Place 15ml of peroxide into each test tube <br><strong>5.</strong> After 1.5 mins re-check the temp of the blood <br><strong>Null Hypothesis</strong>: Peroxide will have no effect on the catalyzation of different temps of chicken blood. <br><strong>Alternative Hypothesis: </strong><br>Peroxide will have have an effect on the catalyzation of different temps of chicken blood. </div>]]></description>

Prepare for 12 trials (3 2 drop, 3 4 drop, 3 6 drop all with 3 control trials)<br>3. Sit each solution for 5 minutes<br>4. Add x amount of hydrogen peroxide and rest for 10 minutes<br>5. measure height of bubbles once after 10 minutes</div>]]></description>
