         <description><![CDATA[<div>American Dream since his literature depicts overcoming obstacles and achieving goals. Mark Twain and a party of Americans traveled Europe and the Holy Land in 1867 aboard the "Quaker City," which was a former Civil Warship. Twain kept a journal of his experiences throughout the tour. “Throughout the journey, Twain kept a written record of his experiences. "The Innocents Abroad" is a travelogue as well as a critique of clashing civilizations, showing the quests and adventures. It's an amusing and enlightening book written by one of America's great writing artists. Showing what Americans went through while going around Europe offers a glimpse into what they went through. "The Innocents Abroad" is both a travelogue and a criticism of colliding civilizations, depicting the quests and experiences of the characters. Throughout the journey, Twain kept a written record of his experiences. "The Innocents Abroad"  importantly, is an entertaining and insightful work written by one of the great masters of American prose.</div><div><br><br></div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>By revealing his problems growing up in America and expressing them in his art, Twain expressed his battle with poverty in his work by presenting his personal experiences in his stories. The American Dream is mirrored in the ability to achieve your goals at the end of the day. His literature involves overcoming difficulties and attaining goals, which represents the American Dream. Mark Twain depicts his life and incorporates what he has experienced into his writing. He channeled his frustrations into his work. In his writing, he discusses prejudice and his youthful innocence. Mark Twain struggled with poverty as a child, and his literature reflects this. While suffering from money, he shows his problems growing up in America and portrays them in his work. The American Dream is reflected in getting successful in the end. This exemplifies the American Dream since his literature depicts overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>The American Dream in Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Great Gatsby</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The American Dream is about overcoming obstacles and achieving success. This novel demonstrates the ideal freedom and equality everyone is fighting for. He wanted his country to be better and wealthier for everyone, with opportunities for everyone based on accomplishment. Freedom is what Huck and Jim desire and this freedom stand in contrast to the American Dream. This novel describes the difficulties that Huck has suffered in his life at such a young age, his abusive father re-enters into his life, making his life miserable. Huck decides to escape his father. He also wants to help his friend Finn escape from slavery. Huck says, “Thinks as long as he can hide it ain't no disgrace. That was my fix exactly.” Huck runs away and starts his adventures with Jim, a runaway slave, and develops his morality outside of society. Jim and Huck gain several useful lessons as a result of their experience. When Jim's freedom is gained Huck decided to travel to the Native Americans to live his life separate from his worries. Personal happiness is one of the themes of the American dream that Huck executes. Despite his ordeals, Huck assists Jim in achieving freedom and escaping slavery. He is brave, and he does not prioritize himself. The Adventures of Huckleberry is about The American Dream which was a common vision of the American people. Freedom is what Huck and Jim desire and this freedom stand in contrast to the American Dream.</div><div><br><br></div>]]></description>
