         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 1945 The U.S dropped a atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in japan to try and end the war. </p><p>facts : </p><p>1.) It is thought that at least 135,000 people died from the Hiroshima explosion and another 70,000 in Nagasaki</p><p>2.) The first bomb dropped on Hiroshima was made from uranium</p><p>3.) Hiroshima was chosen because it was a large port city with an army base.</p>]]></description>

They blocked the roads and had a wall to make them not able to move in or out of the city. </p><p>facts : </p><p>1.) Western Allies provided West Berlin with over 1.9 million tons of supplies.</p><p>2.) The Allies delivered as much as 6,000 tons of supplies each day </p><p>3.) The Soviet Union unsuccessfully attempted to sabotage airlift attempts by shining searchlights at night to blind pilots.</p>]]></description>
