         <description><![CDATA[<div>The chromosome associated with Fragile X Syndrome is the X chromosome. The disease is caused when the FMR1 gene expands or lengthens on the X chromosome, causing a mutation which then switches off production of a protein, that is involved in brain development and other functions.   </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are three main types of symptoms<strong><em>: Behavioral, Development, </em></strong><em>and </em><strong><em>Muscular.</em></strong> <br> </div><div><strong>Behavioral symptoms</strong> show different signs of high aggression, hyperactivity, impulsivity, nonsense word repetition, repetitive movements, self-harm, or persistent repetition of words or actions. </div><div><strong>Developmental Symptoms</strong> show different signs of learning disabilities, or certain speech delay. </div><div><strong>Muscular Symptoms</strong> show different signs of flaccid muscles or problems with coordination. <br><br></div><div><strong>Other common symptoms</strong> include signs of ear enlargement, speech impairment, anxiety,  being double jointed, enlarged head, enlarged testicles, flat feet, a lazy eye, a long thin face, prominent jaw, scoliosis, single line on palm, sleep disorder, sunken chest, or tremor </div>]]></description>
