        "Can I name it Pig?"
         "Whatever you want sweetheart." 
         "Then can it sleep in my room?" I had asked.
         "No, I can not let a dirty animal live in your room!"

“Really!?” I screeched. My eyes were wide open and my mouth was gaping. 
“Yes,” replied mom.
“You’re sure?”
“Sure as the grass is green,”
I had wanted a puppy my whole life and finally we were getting one!

“ Everyone gather around the dinner table. I have some big news for all of you today!” Mom shouted at the top of her lungs.
Everyone came running from their rooms, even 18 year old Jordis, because she knew what would happen if she messed around with Mom. Her phone would be taken away. “I hope I’m not in trouble” she thought. But when she got down stairs the look on her Mom’s face, was anything but trouble. 
“ Good thing you guys are all her.” Dad said.
“ We have some big news. For all of you today… “said Mom.
“ We know, you already told us Mom,” said Jordis rudely.
“ Anyway what I was going to say was that, we are getting a new PUPPY!” said Mom. 
“ Ekkkkkkk, this is even better than the private Yacht you got me! Or the indoor pool, or the mansion you got me, or the car that I have. This is the best news ever! Thanks Mom! Thanks Dad! Bye, got to text all my friends about this amazing news!” With that Jordis ran up to her room and slammed the door behind her.
