This is our original composition about humanity, this song called "Humane." This is actually my first time doing this activity (composing a song), and I consider this activity one of the most memorable achievements in my life: writing and composing a song with meaningful meaning. This had the strongest impact on me because, while completing this activity, I realized that the world and our society are not perfect. If we want to change our society, the change must start with us.

For me, it is already an achievement when I help people, especially the vulnerable. Not everyone has the characteristic of being empathetic, and God might give me the characteristic of being an empathetic person so that I can help more people, especially in the future.

Doing these kind of activities help me a lot to explore things which makes every project valuable for me. Exploring such as in our documentary activity regarding volunteering, if are there still people who volunteer voluntarily or are they just doing it because they know there is something in return? This makes me have more awareness and knowledge about how our society and it's citizens works nowadays.

How will you apply the skills and knowledge gained from NSTP in your future endeavors?

I will apply the skills and knowledge I gained from NSTP by doing, enhancing, and teaching. First, I will apply what I learn by doing it while at the same time enhancing it more so that when the time comes, I can teach it to other people with efficiency.

Did this NSTP project or module challenge your perspective? How did you overcome it?

The NSTP project does challenge my perspective. I admit that I still lack knowledge, and while exploring things while completing our projects, I realized that there are still many things about our society and its citizens that I need to explore or learn, and I think I don't need to overcome them because I prefer to let myself learn more.

What are your biggest takeaways from your NSTP class?

Being a good citizen in our society is our responsibility, and if we want change, the change must start within us. We should be a good example to others by encouraging and teaching others to be more makatao, maka-bansa, maka-kalikasan, and maka-diyos.
