         <description><![CDATA[<div>In 1692, religion was the foundation of New England. Puritanism was the dominant faith of the village of Salem, Mass. This group believed in the devil as much as they believed in God and abode by a strict lifestyle, which instilled anxiety, hysteria, and paranoia of Hell and all of its components among followers.</div>]]></description>

Such certainty instilled the drive to bring a perpetrator to justice among the villagers.</div>]]></description>
