-Your new album"50" is now out since one but before talking about it can we go back to the beginings?

-Sure!

-So,when did you started to sing?

-Let me think...oh, yes,
when I was around ten I started singing in the choir of the church, but it was not the same thing, in a choir you just hear a mix of all the voices and you have to adaptate you to the voices of your comrades.

-How do you started singing pop music?

-When I was fifteen I started to play drums so that maked me like pop music what did you

_Next to sing at the church, how did you became the number one hit in more tan twenty five countries?

-Well, I think that we can say that my musical career started when y I entered in the soul music group FBI.
Then I met some great producers that helped me in and maked me famous.

-You have just said that you was in a soul music group.Why soul music?

-I have always liked soul music and taked inpiration from black american singers.When I was Young I may couldn't appreciate them like now but today my admiration for them is always increasing.

-Before you said that you started playing drums. Do you have ever thaught about being drummer?

-No, I just liked drums beacause it' s a different instrument. You are more free plaing drums beacause you don't really need a teacher,you just take the sticks and play. I played some in the FBI band but it was just a regional scale group

-And now, how do you feel thirty years later, still making music?

-For me it's just amazing ,I'm now fifty years old and people still remember and like my music!
I think I'm very lucky to have that good fans.

-So now, next to have stoped to produce albums to be with your family, you come back and offer us a new album, and most of the tickes of the shows have beeen sealed!

(born the 6 february 1966 Newton-le-Willow) is a British Singer/song writer. He started singing in a church when he was ten years old.Then he entered in the soul music group FBI where he became the lead Singer (at the begining he was the drummer). One day he have been seen by Peete Waterman who offerted him to come to his recording studios(PWL). With him, Rick recorded the song "Never gonna give you up " that became the number one hit in more than twenty five countries. Later he started to produce by himself and at the end of the 90's he stoped to sing to be with his family. In 2007 he came back to the scene to sing and talk at the radio. He's now 51 years old.
