• black reuseable gloves (think tattoo artist like idk what the materials called)

lighting:

•i Imagine a more darker and more swollen lighting style not necessarily using brighter colors.

•for the barbershop and the government ball thing scene I imagine using a more yellow tinted light

• For the flashback scene mentioned in act 2 I imagine a more darker may be green maybe red it depends on what The set aesthetic is at that point and the stage being very dark

• When Simon finds the statue I can see him being on one of the platforms looking out into the ocean and only the platforms are being lit by the rest of the stage by association is dark and once the statue is seen by him possibly having the color of the Statue of Liberty be slowly faded in

• all the church interludes are under a single spotlight with the radio showcased in front of them

(in general I do see spotlights and sole spotlights being used quite frequently throughout the show)

I was thinking that maybe the set could be a little desaturated, possibly to connect to the fact we are in a 1930s aesthetic, and there aren’t many, in-color photos from that time. I do believe that “The Wizard Of Oz” was the first ever movie to feature in-color film. Also, just a thought, maybe we should take a moment to watch Doctor Who, Season 3, Episodes 4-5 which take place in the Central Park Hooverville during the Great Depression.
