At 9:30am, we had a briefing session with Sir Mujahid, the Human Resource Executive at Belum Rainforest Management Sdn Bhd. The briefing is done to introduce us more about this company such as the upper management members, and the resort's products and services. At the same time, we were informed about the department that has been assigned to each of us.

After the briefing session, Sir Mujahid done a short resort tour to show us the place that has in this resort according its name especially the hotel's name.

Then, we had a photo session include all the internship students and part-timer.

After that we go to our own department and mine was Food and Beverage Department. It was supervised by Sir Helmi. I was briefed more detail about the restaurant and the job scope that I'm going to do. Other team members also thought me on how I should act when there is a customer such as greeting, taking orders, table setup, sending order and table cleaning. They also thought me on their working system which taking order and then key in the items, after that give the food receipt to the kitchen then make the drinks ordered.

My work schedule starts at 9:00am which I need go to Hornbill restaurant for the breakfast session. As I arrived the guests were enjoying their meal.

Then, Sir Helmi done a detail briefing about the restaurant and show me the areas that I should know such as kitchen, store, hall, chef office and many more.

After the breakfast done, I packed some food that wanted to bring to the Bazaar.

Then I go down to Sidai for lunch session. At the same time, I do some cleaning and rearranged all the items like cups, plate, jug in its storing place.

When the guests came, I'm taking the order, table setup, sending order and table cleaning.

Before ending my shift at 5:00pm, I helped preparing for the dinner buffet which is table setup and make the drinks.

Today shift starts at 2:00pm, as I arrived at Sidai Restaurant, the other team members were preparing for dinner buffet and Iftar for a group of teachers from Orang Asli school.

I done my usual job scopes which are greeting customers, taking orders, table setup, sending orders, preparing drinks and table cleaning.

After the dinner done around 9:30pm, we were assigned to do a deep cleaning especially at the bar area and then do the closing at 10:00pm.

The closing are include storing all the items like plates and cups/glasses into its storing areas, and cover all the icebox with cloth to avoid from the monkey's damage.

Today there is an audit from Jabatan Kemajuan Islam Malaysia and I cannot be in the restaurant since I do not have my typhoid injection. Due to that, my working schedule also became uncertain.

I was asked to going to work at 1:00pm. I do my daily task like greeting customers, taking their orders, sending order and table cleaning. At 2:00pm, I was asked to going back to the hostel.

Then, at 7:00pm, I'm back to work at Sidai Restaurant. Basically, I assist the guests with dinner buffet by asking their room number because according to the list, there are 34 pax that we going to served.

At 10:00pm, we do the closing session by storing all the items and cover the them with cloth.

After that, we go to Hornbill restaurant to do the table setup for morning buffet.

The dinner not just offering buffet, it also offer ala carte. They guests can choose these two choices.

I helped in making sure the food is in good condition and warm. At the same time, I focused on serving guests by greeting them, taking orders, table setup, sending orders and table cleaning.

At 10:00pm, do the usual closing session by putting the items like plates and cups/glasses in its storing place, and cover the icebox, computer, cutleries areas with cloth.

Then, go to Hornbill to send back the food tray in kitchen and put the food tag on the table for breakfast buffet.
