1. The way I see it, yes. In our time today we still rely on our traditional ways on doing things, but it would be alot harder for ICT helps us to ease Communication and so many more. People now rely everything on technology a good example of this is just checking the date today, we look in our mobile devices to check on the things that can be checked on Calendars. That is why I think it will be hard but it is possible.

2. The applications that I am using are Facebook, Messenger, Discord, Google meet and Instagram. It affects me by keeping in touch with people around me especially in today's time I use these apps in learning and socializing with other people. this apps eases the ways we can communicate with other people and it is contact free we only need an internet connection and a device and we can talk to anyone.

1. In a generation of digital natives, we cannot be competitive if we remove ICT as one of our resources or tools. Some of the reasons is that ICT teaches us several cultivations and learning that helps us individually in understanding technology. ICT also promotes the exchange of information, thus it helps us in garnering knowledge in different facets or aspects.

2. Some of the applications that I am using are Messenger, Google Meet, Gmail, and other social networking applications. These affects me in a way that I can improve my skills and knowledge, basically for the betterment of myself, through applications. Because ICT really gave us digital natives the means to explore, create, and maximize our skills with social media and other internet medias people use to be more competitive, unlike how the world might be without it.

2.

1.

In a way, we would still be competitive, but not as much as having ICT as our main tool or resource especially nowadays. Because without ICT, the progress of a certain aspect would not be efficient and quick, thus, society would not raise any competitions that also leads to an unprogressive society. For instance, in terms of communication, if we do not rely on the fast development that the ICT provides, perhaps we would not be having any advanced phones today, and there wouldn’t be any fast progress on the telecommunication or cellphones companies nowadays, because there would be no competitions between them when there is no ICT.

2.

Social Media Applications (Facebook, Twitter, and IG) are my most used app in my mobile phone. It evidently affects me and the community in a way that every person in social media can interact with one another easily, especially when there is a trending content that is present on that certain media. Whereas, each one of us can provide our thoughts regarding the content that was posted. Moreover, the use of GSuite applications for educational purposes, which provides a virtual and interactive learning between students and teacher, thus having a convenient and efficient way to communicate with regards to learning.

1. When we say in competitiveness without ICT, our resources and tools might be quite limited and might have a slow progression since we only rely on our source of integration and in gathering of data, and in communicating with people within our own usage of understanding technology. ICT gives a faster way for digital natives and immigrants to learn more about technology in advance since all the knowledge are already input there globally.

2. I use apps that are intended for social, entertainment, and learning purposes only such as messenger, youtube, google apps and forms which were made for social interactions and gatherings. When it comes to affecting me and the community as a whole, it really depends on the person in how you use the apps responsibly or abusively. Everyone has the freedom to do what they want that might bring positive and negative feedback from the receivers.

This is due to the fact that our world is evolving and everything around us. With ICT, we can discover more informations that could help us understand certain things. For example, ICT helps us create medicines for new viruses and other health complications.

2. Most of the applications I use in a daily basis are Facebook, Instagram, Youtube, Netflix, Shopee, and school applications like Google Meet, Google Classroom, etc. These applications gives us positive and negative impact in our lives. However, because not all users are disciplined in using those applications, it also affects us in a negative way. It affects me and the community that every person can communicate and socialize with each other. such as sharing information and following famous influencers. since all of my apps are in the social media platform it is evident that we have the freedom to say what's in our mind and post whatever we like. with that being, I don't usually post and say what's in my mind in the social media. we should also be a responsible social media user.

As a generation of digital natives, I do not think that we can still be competitive if we remove ICT as one of our resources or tools, considering the fact that we are currently living in the 21st Century, or what we call “digital era”. Technology does not only provide faster information, but also, numerous information to us. Information is being shared and transported through web/media platforms. Compare the knowledge one person has way back in the early 1900s and a person living in the current era. Due to the development of ICT, it has been easier to grasp information and a bigger number of sources are provided to us nowadays which serves as a great tool and resources for human beings.

The applications I use in my gadgets are facebook, instagram, messenger, google meet, google classroom, and other g-suite applications. These applications affect me as an individual to help communicate with others, regardless of the distance and it helps me to learn or to be educated in this time of pandemic wherein we cannot normally attend school and take the classes in traditional platforms. Lastly, the g-suite applications affect the community as a whole by providing the convenient space for the students and teachers to communicate and interact with each other, and hereby developing a community in a positive way.

In my own perspective, we would not be competitive if ICT is removed as a tool or resources. ICT has been one of the main resources for our needs when it comes to work, Entertainment, as well as contributions to the society. There are certain works or applications that can only be done with the need of ICT, so if somehow ICT is removed as a main tool or resources, those works or applications would not function at all. In addition, we live in a generation of digital natives, so people rely on technology.

Some of the applications I'm using are Facebook, messenger, and the g-suite apps. These affect me in a positive and negative way. For instance, I use these applications to learn new things as well as enhance my skills, but it also caused addiction that made me focus on things that I shouldn’t focus on. As for the community, it’s the same way. For instance, The community is closer than ever thanks to the different sites and applications available, but it also caused addiction that made them focus on their devices rather than other matters that are way more important. I would like to relate this to a quote I know, “they’re so near, and yet so far”.

1. No, we wouldn’t be as competitive if we remove ICT because we wouldn’t have the right tools and the right guidance that we need in order to use different apps or platforms effectively especially now that we live in a world where technology is widely used. ICT enables us to communicate, gather, and share information easily which can contribute to the development of a person, a society, or in a larger scale, the world. Without the proper knowledge in using these technologies through ICT, we might use it in our disadvantage which makes us less competent instead of maximizing the benefits that it offers and using it in our advantage.

2. The different applications that I use are Messenger, YouTube, Instagram, Google Meet, Google Classroom, and other G-Suite apps. It affects me as well as the community because it helps us communicate easily and better with other people especially now that there is a pandemic and we can’t really interact with other people face-to-face. Additionally, G-Suite app enables us to still continue our studies and learn something despite the pandemic that we are experiencing now. These apps make it easy for the teachers as well as the students to interact with each other and conduct their classes efficiently.

1. In my perspective, we would not be as competitive as we are when we have ICT as one one of our resources and tools. Like mentioned, we are part of the digital natives, which means technology has been in our lives for so long that we became dependent on it over time. For instance, in education, we use google where in we simply just type our questions and we would instantly be provided with an answer. This helps us expand our knowledge on a particular topic or course and therefore, improve competitiveness. Moreover, since we are in the middle of a pandemic, without ICT, our education would not make any progress since we mainly rely on gadgets and the internet to continue our classes. In businesses, we also see a lot of digital advertisements in our social media accounts that attracts us to their shop or store. Because of this, businesses become more competitive to get the attention of their potential consumers. Additionally, many restaurants are now using applications such as grab and foodpanda that allows them to deliver their products to the customers. Due to this, a lot of consumers are buying more from their shop because they could easily do it in the comfort of their own homes. This, in turn, rises competitiveness in businesses which helps our economic growth.

2. Some applications that I often use are google, messenger, facebook, and instagram. This both has a negative and positive effect on me and the community as a whole because these applications have a huge influence on our perceptions, beliefs, and understanding. For instance, in google, we often see news and other information shared by various people. This could help us become aware of the present issues that is happening all around the world however, at the same time, this particular information might be false, so it could lead us to believing and spreading false information. Second, these applications also affect our relationships and connections with other people. For instance, in messenger, we get to connect with our loved ones who are far away through chat or video call. Moreover, these applications are truly convenient in this time of the pandemic because we get to continue our education despite not physically going to school. Lastly, these applications also has an effect on our mental health as it influences the way that we see ourselves. To elaborate more, in instagram and in facebook, we have reactions such as like, heart, haha, and more. These reactions from other people affect us mentally either in a good or bad way (it could boost or confidence or destroy it) which is why we must all be responsible users of technology in order for us to avoid being affected negatively.

1. Based on my own understanding and perspective, without ICT it is impossible for us to be as competitive as we are when we have ICT as our tool or resource. ICT is one of our major resource for our needs in terms of work, Entertainment, and in terms of our contributions to the society. ICT has a big impact in terms of our social connections, culture and helps us to understand more about technology during this era.

2. The apps that I regularly use are Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Twitter, Youtube, and G suite applications. These apps may have a positive effect to me and to the society but it also has its negative effects. It affects myself and the society as a whole to communicate, search, entertain, learn, and interact through various applications we used. These applications could help us become aware of the past and present issues all over the world. But these applications gives us a responsibility to be a reponsible user everytime we post, share, like, interact and speak about things.

1. I believe that without ICT, we will be encountering difficulties in doing different tasks as we consider it to be one of our resources of information. For instance, we rely on ICT for communication purpose. Without it, we will be returning back to a time of snail mail. We would also limited access to knowledge and we would not be able to share our ideas to other people. Without ICT, probably we will not be that competitive since ICT has enabled features that can do more efficiently than humans.

2. I normally use Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram to keep up with the community. This affected me and the community as we are able to communicate with each other and share life updates with them. These applications also allows individuals of the community to share their sentiments and raise awareness on different issues, allowing everyone to be more vocal and engaged compared to previous generations. I am also using the G-Suite for Education applications so that I could continue on with my education despite the challenges of the pandemic. Those applications allow students to reach for their goals step-by-step and allow them to be more tech-savvy amidst the pandemic.

1. Being a digital native my self obviously the answer would be a big NO, removing ICT as one of the resources or tools in learning is a death wish if we wish to aspire to be competitive in the global scene. In the current digital era, it is necessary to learn and understand things about technology in order to achieve progress and faster. ICT helps in the many ways it teaches us about technology, enables us to learn and gather information faster, and it also makes us independent from other countries in terms of technology. So in order to equip the future in being fluent with the use of ICT we should start by rooting it in the education system of the Philippines by using ICT as one of the subjects in school, with this we could raise youth that are competent and fluent in the usage of ICT.

2. I use several apps on both my pc and cellphone but the apps that I really use to keep up with what's happening around me are twitter, facebook, and messenger. I use these to communicate and also have fun. But the effects of these on the community is far better and worse, on a positive note these apps helps news be spread widely and faster, awareness about social issues can be raised simultaneously that makes the present world be aware of the toxic traits the the society have constructed also certain apps nowadays helps us to innovate especially in terms of education where we now use social media to connect with students and teachers. But the downsides of these are the rampant spreading of fake news and character wrecking trolls. Scammers and identity thieves are also on the run nowadays that can steal and destroy our identities. Lastly these apps also weigh on our mental health because being online for too long really disconnects us from the world, and it really shatters our own perception about certain things to the point that we use it as a model to which we copy but just brings drastic effects unto our mental health.

We made it this far with ICT alone, we can also do the same, but it will be different way on how we do it.

2. The search engine I use is google, the social media platform I mostly use is Facebook and messenger, and for the entertainment I use is YouTube.

1. As aforementioned, we are in a generation of digital natives, hence if ICT is to be removed as one of our practical tools or resources, I highly doubt that we could be as competitive as we are right now. This is due to the fact that everything around us, particularly anything that involves around technology is progressively evolving, which makes us completely invulnerable with our dependence towards it. For instance, we can freely converse with other people in the community with the help of technology and at the same, we can easily accumulate relevant information by completely relying on ICT.

2. The different applications that I primarily use are Facebook, Messenger, YouTube, Discord, and G-Suite Apps for these apps provide significant uses; may it be for education, entertainment, and/or communication. Furthermore, due to the effortless access on various of information gathered online, this helped me see things in a wider perspective and ameliorates my willingness to respect different behavior and beliefs of one’s own. However, some of these applications could negatively affect the community, including myself, for these applications could easily influence its users and manipulate their beliefs and understanding through their shared contents, which would have a huge possibility to create conflict and division inside the community.

The use of social media apps may come in handy for me in terms of connecting with my friends via online, but the standards when it comes to portraying oneself on the internet may affect how one sees himself/herself. Online games to unwind and relax during free time can also affect time management and make way for procrastination. Applications made for studying can be efficient but it can also be very stressful and nerve wracking. As one of those digital native wherein technology is also part of our daily lives, we cannot be competitive if we remove ICT as one of our resources because we are currently living in a digital world. In fact, by using ICT as one of the subjects in school, we could help us to be equipped in the future. ICT teaches some knowledge about technology and enables us to know how to gather and learn information faster but credibly. It can also help in a way we can be independent from other countries in terms of technology.

2. To be part of a generation wherein the technology is really useful and also one of the daily necessities. I use several applicalitions using my mobile phone and laptop, like facebook, twitter, instagram, youtube,
and many more social media platforms. I use those applications to communicate and hang with the people that are far to me, I can tell them what is going on in my life easily and hassle free. Social media also keeps me updated on what is happening around the world nor to our country rather. The effects of these on the community can be great and worst, it can be great because it can use to spread news and information faster than the traditional way of reporting news, but it also have a downside because it can also spread misinformations very fast and could lead us to believe and also spread false informations. Also, there are a lot of scammers and identity thieves using social media that can steal and wreck your identity. These applications also connect to our mental health because being online for a long period of time can disconnect us to the real world nor to reality rather. It can also change our perspective about certain things to the point that we just really imitate what we see in the social media eventhough you know to yourself that it can be harmful, and because of that we should always be mindful in dealing and doing everything in the social media.

1. At this point of time, if we remove ICT as one of our resources or tools, we would not be as competitive as we are right now. We can still be competitive, however ICT existing in our lives is one of the main reasons why we have come up with such innovative technologies. It makes us even more competitive in such a way that due to various ideas that are created, people are still able to come up with their own stance and discoveries. Looking at our generation nowadays, we are now much more progressive and futuristic in means of discovering or creating different things compared when ICT was not yet fully developed.

2. I use Social Media applications like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Youtube, and the ones that I have been using in online learning such as Google Meet, Google Classroom, and other G-Suite applications. It has became a habit in my daily life to surf through social media, especially in this time of pandemic where I want to free myself from boredom, isolation, and stress. The applications that I mentioned somehow contributes to the betterment of myself as an individual, and the community as well as we get to learn various things everyday. It also affects us positively by communicating— where we can share our ideas to other people, improving our skills and abilities, and expanding our knowledge to different aspects as well. In addition, knowing that it is inevitable for us to see such things everyday, especially online that may induce us negatively, being wise and open-minded are the best ways not to indulged ourselves in those.

1. As a generation of digital natives, we may not be competitive if Information and Communications Technology (ICT) becomes unavailable as one of our resources because it is essential to exhibit productivity evident in the field of Media and Information Literacy (MIL). Although there are numerous netizens who practice unethical activities involving ICT, several people among us utilize it in order to discuss relevant topics and resolve contemporary issues to establish peace and order. ICT and MIL are some of the most crucial tools in order to attain justice within the society.

2. In order to stay updated about the social issues within the society, I educate myself through social media applications such as Twitter, Youtube, and Facebook. Although there are countless netizens who use those apps for the most unworthy purposes, there are also netizens who make the most out of their resources to educate and reach out to others who need it the most. It reaches out to people and spread awareness regarding relevant issues within the society through news reports, articles, videos, and such.
