Language style - Longboard love, passion, tribal, welcoming, celebration, feel-good
Focus on emotional drivers that connect to growth tactics: Relevant,  Authentic, Accessible, Re-enforce positive benefit 

Tactic 3 - Simplify choices. Make it easy to choose
$100 - FUNCTIONAL Driver - I know what I want, help me make that choice and I will become a brand advocate
Bundle paint into different types of color palettes/themes based on level "Beginner", "Cruiser/Casual",  "Street park". Helps in cross-selling and up-selling more colors.

Airbnb’s startup team acted on a hunch and began focusing on the user experience, the company started to experience a turnaround. As soon as Airbnb improved its rental listings with professional, attention-grabbing photographs, business became better.
One of the most interesting tactic is using the Craigslist growth hack. Airbnb helped by filling out all Craigslists forms with a ‘bot.’ Airbnb was able to build a bot to visit Craigslist, snag a unique URL, input the listing info, and forward the URL to the user for publishing.
Once those Craigslist users made the switch, they were more likely to ignore Craigslist and book through Airbnb in the future.


2. What mindset and skillset do you think contributed to their success?

Mindset: Try and learn first. Meet the people. Learn as much as possible what is important to the market and what the people spending habits are on accommodations. 

Using whatever tactics is available out there that allows them to have a better outreach.

A Disruptive Product - Almost all of the music in the world at any time or place for only $10 a month, and aimed to give users complete control and access to any song on demand.
