Many students throw away their food they have in their lunchbox , because as we know that most children don’t like healthy food very much and tend to love fast and unhealthy food . When they see fruits in their lunch box , they throw them or they eat only half of them and throw away the other half , and some of them get rid of their food on the pretext that they don’t have time to play . To reduce food waste , we will put a small amount of food and only as much as the child needs.
We can also prepare a healthy meal with the child in a fun way to encourage eating , such as cutting fruits and vegetables and making them in the form of animals that the child loves .

As for schools for non-children , we will first look for the reasons for wasting food for students and then conduct a voluntary campaign with the slogan “No to wasting food” and provide workshops by specialized people for students to urge not to waste food . And if the food in their lunchbox isn’t eaten and there is no harm in it we can give it to the female workers who work in the school or return it home .

Firstly, school must raise awareness for the importance of bringing the complete nutritional food for the student and advising them not to bring food in excess of the student’s need and to return it home when possible. Also, we can contribute to decrease food waste by putting a box for food leftovers to be sent by the school to animals later.
