The reasons are to get them the opportunity to create, to personalize the experiences, to think differently, to engage in other skills, to communicate well, to collaborate with each other.
The first challenge is the limitation of knowledge of technology, other is in terms of bad infrastructure, or sometimes is prohibited by law the use of phones in the classroom, another is the restriction by parents for children have more privacy or they think using technology is just to play games.
One way to minimize these resistances is showing to parents what students did before theused technology, like videos, blogs, etc. Starts small, begin with a simple idea in your classroom and the school will see the advantages. Teachers have to think about privacy.
