I think for Lark, it must have been embarrassing and made her feel bad when no one knew who she was. On page 130 it says, "Others whispered, 'Never heard of her'." If this happened to me, I would be embarrassed and this would make me self conscious and feel bad about myself.

While reading, I got confused when I came across the word, "incredulously." In the text it said, "You live with them?' Alessandra said incredulously." This confused me because I did not know what the word meant. I came to the conclusion that it meant jealously because Alessandra was very jealous of lark living with the band. After looking it up, I found out the word actually means someone is not willing or able to believe someone or something.

I can't believe Aidan would do something so harsh. He plagiarised Lark's song and then tried to tell her mother that it was his and they could sell it. This was unbelievably unfair and disrespectful and illegal of him and I am so happy he got kicked out of the band for doing this.

I believe that when Roy asked his parents if it was illegal to drop out of school, he should have had a story or reason why e asked. Roy would probably not want to concern his parents and make them think e wanted to drop out. If he had said, "Is it illegal to skip school? I saw on a show that a kid did it, but I didn't believe it was true," his parents might have been more convinced.

It surprises me that Officer Delinko is so willing to put his job at risk to catch someone doing stupid acts of crime. I think he is doing this to impress the chief, and to show them that he is a good cop and deserves a promotion, but it could be something else. The officer could have some sort of connection to the location that has not been shared yet.

I predict that Roy's situation and officer Delinko's situation will somehow connect. Right now in the book, there are different parts of each chapter, one from each situation. I predict that the running boy has been committing the crimes, and somehow Roy will get involved in damaging the man's property helping the running boy, and the officer will think he is the one who has committed all of the other crimes too.
