The main idea of "The Good Samaritan" Is to always trust and help your neighbor, Jesus explains this by telling the story of a man who was robbed and beaten badly to the point where he could barely move. When a priest was walking down the road and saw the man, He just passed the other side, same did a Levite. Then a Samaritan (a person from Samaria) came across the wounded man and decided to help him by taking him to a place of care and medicine the Samaritan gave the caretaker 2 denarii said to the caretaker he says (in my words) "Take good care of him until I get back, And when I do I will pay for any extra expenses."

I believe the main idea is how you should always be honest and confess your wrongdoings. I believe this because in the video it says "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee, and am no more worthy to be called thy son" then his father saw him while he ran away and said "bring forth the best robe, and put it on him. put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet. Bring hither 'the fated calf' and kill it and let us eat and be merry. for this my son was dead, and is alive again, and he was lost but was found." this shows that his father was happy that he confessed to his sins against heaven and gave him mercy.
