Since Vaughan has a diverse population, I found that there was only 1 centre for refugee students. I also did further research on schools in Vaughan and if they have any programs in place for welcoming refugees and immigrants. However, there was a major lack of information regarding this. In our areas, many of the residents reside in high-rise buildings. Residents are tightly packed and there is minimal green space. The largest green space is the local golf club, demonstrating the income gap and disparity of the residents versus the outer community. 
-Lack of community centres
Many of the students lack access to community centres and resources. Many of the children living in the community do not have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular activities. Many of the residents come from low-income backgrounds which highlights the need for publicly-funded community centres and resources so children/adolescents have access to extra-curricular activities.
-Education disparity
Many of the individuals who make up this community do not have a high school diploma from Canada. Many of the members in this community are immigrants/refugees fleeing war.
