Elizabeth Cady Stanton: Great speech tonight Emma.

Emma Watson: Thank you, Elizabeth. I’m really glad I decided to talk about stereotypes tonight. Especially about men being imprisoned by gender stereotypes, too not just women.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton: I agree. I think it really hit home for many individuals. Many don’t realize that men also aren’t always treated as equals, too.

Emma Watson: Like the stereotype, “Women are smarter than men.” or “Women are always right.” These two statements discourage men profusely.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton: Couldn’t have said it better. Looking for Sunday, August 26th, for Women’s Equality Day. See you in Washington.

Emma Watson: Looking forward to it.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton would probably have a text conversation with Emma Watson because they are both women's right activists. They both defend various issues relating to woman like: parental and custody rights, employment and income rights, economic health of family, and much more. Both women, have had large influences on their generations relating to women suffrage and equality.

They have to be attractive, a they have to be perfect. This song would be in Stanton’s playlist because it shows social norms that women face that have large negative effects on themselves. Women are willing to change their looking and morals to fit into the social figure everyone expects them to be.

She says beauty is pain and there's beauty in everything, What's a little bit of hunger?”

This song was chosen because, it shows how women are willing to change themselves-physically just for the approval of their peers. This song show the extent that women will go to, to impress others.
