  • There was a poor woman who was holding a sick child.

  • Jerry offered her to ride his cab.
  • However, she doesn’t have enough money to pay the fare.
  • Jerry didn’t mind about the money. So he gave a free ride to the lady and managed to arrive at the hospital on time. 
  • On his way back from the hospital, he met Polly’s previous employer. 
  • She is Mrs. Fowler.
  • She got on his cab and had a small talk with Jerry, asking him about Polly, their children and his current job.
  • She also mentioned that Jerry and his family can ask her for help anytime they need it and she will be more than happy to help them.
