When Macbeth is talking about his friend Banquo, he says, “So is he mine; and in such bloody distance That every minute of his being thrusts Against my near’st of life” (Act 3, Scene 1, Page 5). This is a good example of Betrayal.

I am afraid to think what I have done;

Look on ’t again I dare not. " The reason this quote is my favorite is because I like how it was worded , and you can really see Macbeth's guilt in Act 2 Scene 2 page 3.

This quote from Macbeth reminds me of how Uther, the king and father of Arthur, was a tyrant. He did not kill someone else for the throne, nor was there any prediction for his reign, however he did act influenced by magic. The ignominy of both kings before the end of their rule is widely seen by the people. Neither cared much for opposition and killed according to their personal benefit, thus being tyrants.

“We fail? but screw your courage to the sticking-place, and we’ll not fail. When Duncan is asleep—whereto the rather shall his day’s hard journey soundly invite him—his two chamberlains will I with wine and wassail so convince that memory, the warder of the brain, shall be a fume, and the receipt of reason A limbeck only: when in swinish sleep their drenchèd natures lie as in a death, what cannot you and I perform upon the unguarded Duncan? What not put upon his spongy officers, who shall bear the guilt of our great quell?” (Act 1 scene 7)

This quote from Lady Macbeth is similar to the antagonist in Merlin, Morgana. She has a free and spirited mind with crafty and stealthy plans like Lady Macbeth. The reason for such behavior is different however they take similar approaches to ill the king to take the throne. Bothe women, despite being villainous, display a strong and unique will not needing to rely on a man.

“Hail, king! For so thou art. Behold where stands the usurper’s cursèd head. The time is free.” (Act 5 scene 7)

This quote from Macduff is akin to the heroism of Merlin, the main character in the tv show Merlin. Both of them show an outstanding display of justice and bravery in defeating the villain. The fate for both men is told and seen unfolded the further the story is told. Kindhearted men who don’t take pleasure in killing having to for the betterment of the kingdom is admirable.
