1-"And to my my god my heart did cry/ To strengthen me in my distress" (7-8) Through her faith in God, she possesses the ability to heal and gain a understanding of past events. The primary drivers of human behavior are greatly influenced by the government, social control, and education. These factors play a pivotal role in shaping societies and individuals. Moreover, for many people, they provide a sense of meaning and purpose in life.
2- "That laid my goods now in the dust: Yea, so it was and so "twas just, It was His own, it was not mine Fur be it that I should repine (14-18) - Faith and literature have a significant impact on American literature. In Puritan society, God is often portrayed as a harsh and strict figure, while in Christianity, God is seen as merciful and compassionate. These contrasting beliefs give rise to diverse stories, interpretations of events, practices, and sets of ideals and rules within literature.
3- Sometimes, faith and religion can prevent people from seeing the truth clearly. This happens when people attribute events in their lives solely to God, even though there might be other explanations for what occurred."I blest his name that gave and took, That laid my goods now in the dust" (Bradstreet 14-15)
4-Faith and religion have the power to uncover truths for individuals. Many people believe that when certain events occur, it is a sign of their fate in the afterlife, whether it be heaven or hell. This belief helps them determine if they have been good or bad in their actions and choices."Raise up thy thoughts above the sky" (Bradstreet 41)

1-The Puritans strongly believed that God had control over everything, even after their deaths. This belief played a significant role in the lives of ordinary people, shaping their relationship with God and influencing their actions and decisions.

2- "That laid my goods now in the dust: Yea, so it was and so "twas just, It was His own, it was not mine Fur be it that I should repine (14-18) - The theme of God is frequently explored in American literature. In the poem by Bradstreet, where she converses with God in her thoughts, it exemplifies the presence of religious themes found in various texts. This demonstrates how writers often incorporate discussions about God into their literary works.

3- In the poem, Bradstreet suppresses her emotions, which means she keeps her true feelings hidden and does not express them openly to herself or others. This self-restraint prevents her from acknowledging and sharing her genuine thoughts and emotions.
4-Faith and religion can reveal the truth, as seen in Bradstreet's experience. Feeling guilty, she finds comfort in her faith, which provides her with solace and support. This highlights the importance of having a strong support system in one's life, as it can help individuals navigate their emotions and find peace.
