    amplifies excellence in traditional academics?

     Teachers: How can they use/check out this space to do 
      hands on activities with their students (STREAM)
   
      Technology Class: We need more robotics/coding/Computer        Science (more than 1 class every other week in 3-5th grade)

Processes that Occur:
Tinkering: (empathy-based, Design Thinking Process, (Service to community and world can come into play with the challenges and questions students tackle)

Robotics: Coding and Computer Science/Technology curriculum can grow here

Electronics/Soldering: Students can learn and practice basic 
circuitry, etc.

Making: From the MakerSpace movement: crafting, sewing, woodworking, etc. You can go as low-fi as dollar store hacks to 3D Printing/Pens and laser cutting.

Production: Video, drones, Virtual Reality, Green Screen.


Value Added:
-Something to be proud of (display work, projects, and the kinds of experiential authentic learning that happens there)
-Touring: Space to show


Shared Space across Academy?
This could be a potential space to be shared with the Middle School, so students can work together to create in multi-age groups, or have demos from HS students, etc.
