During this pandemic, several Filipinos have had experienced of being unemployed. The effect of the huge unemployment lead the poor to be more prone to illnesses and health problems. Consider that in today’s fast-moving world, diseases travel at breakneck speeds. Now, It is essential to raise poverty awareness because many people are unaware of how bad poverty is in developing countries, but they are also unaware of how high poverty rates have risen in their own country. Our world could be a much better place if we could raise more awareness; even a few donation to help the various campaigns such as non government organizations will leave a positive footprint in the fight against poverty.

New job opportunities have accompanied economic growth in the Philippines, but unemployment remains relatively elevated, compared to elsewhere in the region, while chronic underemployment and static wage growth have seen the number of working poor expand in recent years. The government is addressing these challenges through investments in education and health, such as a conditional cash transfer program and senior high school reforms. However, wage growth remains stubbornly slow, representing one of the most significant challenges facing the country’s labour market. Indeed, gains in productivity have easily outpaced real wage growth, which has stagnated over the previous decade.

https://oxfordbusinessgroup.com/analysis/increasing-earnings-tackling-challenges-employment-government-priority

There is no doubt that the Filipino people are poor. It doesn't matter you live in big mansion in the Philippines or not; if we allow the government to ignore the poor and make them poorer, then it wouldn't just affect them, but it would also affect our economy, our country, and ourselves.
Finding a job is not an easy task. Especially now that we're in a time of a pandemic when more and more people are struggling to make ends meet and poverty is rising high. That's why we need the help of the government to provide more jobs for the jobless and for the ones who need it the most. They need to do job programs to boost employments and help the needy.
If the government would provide these jobs and help the poor escape the struggle they're experiencing now, then it could be the end of poverty in this country.

In this period of time, most individuals from mindanao are unemployed they are often more susceptible to several challenges, including difficulty in finding future employment and decreased income. As students, we are not obliged to take part on major processes but what we can be responsible by spreading the word of poverty and how it ruins most people's lives, it limits them from doing more for their family and to the economy. Nonprofit organizations strengthen communities by providing the educational, health, and social services that citizens need and which the government cannot fully provide. With this, we must invest as volunteers of the youth to fulfill the organization's missions when they have dedicated and passionate people who give their time, talent, and treasure to volunteer and serve on nonprofits’ volunteer.
