In every race, there are trophies that is ought to be procured, based on how committed the racers are in accordance, to who gets the first place down to the consolation place. This is very likely with how the verse from 2 Timothy 4:8 depicted heaven—as a perfect place that bestow rewards, like the crown of righteousness to those who truly is deserving of it. Living a good and righteous life for God and for the people is the goal of the said reward. Frankly, we all can possibly enter heaven, but only a few are considered to be given, by God himself, the crown of righteousness. These people are who we know, down here on Earth, the angels and the saints. They lived their lives truly righteous from their words down to their actions, allowing themselves not to be allured by temptations surrounding them, and if they can, surely, so as we. In congruity with our school, Pasig Catholic College’s creed, the PCCian’s creed: follow the right thing at the right time and at the right place, let’s make our conscience be part of every decision we do. Let us do the right thing as best as we can and as often as we can, disregarding what other people would say. As whoever pursues righteousness and love will find life, prosperity and honor (Proverbs 21:21), which in the end will grant us, the crown of righteousness.

-Kate Angel Manuel

The verse of James evokes us Christians to be more strong and steadfast amidst all the trials. This verse is very relatable at the current time where numerous trials appear before us everyday. James echoes the thought of treating hardships as joyful experiences. For our faith only grows bigger when we are pushed and tested by trials. Keeping our faith strong through putting more trust into God and deeply engaging in the scriptures according to the verse shall bring us more blessings. As what we're always told, we would not be given any challenges by God that we can't handle. Hence, those who remain loyal and trust God during these hardships shall receive "the crown of life" or eternal life with God in Heaven. Those who continuously love God even with trials shall be rewarded after their earthly lives.

-John Paul Quintero
12 Pope Innocent III

The world we live in right now is a land of sufferings and challenges, a time of heartaches and problems, and a life of difficulties and sickness. Without God, our life would probably be full of sufferings and sadness. However, in this verse, it depicts that in every suffering, we will experience its contrast; Suffering is placed aboard nice glory, disappointment is contrasted with lasting joy, despair is place in differentiation with the fantastic hope that's set before us, whereas death is forever enveloped up within the abundance of everlasting life. All suffering for the Christian is meant to produce joy and strength in us, leading to greater reward (Mt 5:12). Hence, we must share Christ’s sufferings in order to share in His glory. After our death, if we are going with Him, we will only feel hope, happiness, and comfort in His greater glory. That is why, until our last breath here on Earth, even if we experienced pain and sufferings while we live, we will no longer feel those for we are glorified by the Lord.

- Ma.

In this bible verse from Luke says, “Jesus answered him, ‘Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.’” This statement truly is one of most amazing bible’s verse I heard, because it is true that the one who truly repent for the sins, he/she did, will truly forgive. Just like the two thieves with Jesus besides Him, one of them at the very last minute of his life, he truly repents himself to Jesus, and He forgives him quickly without hesitation and he let him come to the paradise. As the other thief who even questions Jesus if he is truly the king and God ends up in Hell. A genuine moment of self-reflection and sincere sorrow for sin, followed by real faith, will bring the passage to paradise and will be good till the very last second of life. There is a great reward for living a life of righteous obedience in Christ, but salvation comes by faith alone.

- James Andrei G. Aniñon

Many questions arise in our minds as to why God allows us to suffer and go through tribulations. "If God truly loves us, why would he allow such violence, crimes, and tragedies to occur?" others argue. Let us contemplate this scripture from the book of John. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him may not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16). Our sins were paid for by Jesus himself, he redeemed our world by his never-ending love for us. Here, Jesus demonstrates the triumphant power of suffering through His resurrection; that success comes after every trial. He's turned it into a source and channel for something good: redemption and eternal life. This verse shines a ray of hope in a world filled with darkness and sorrow, promising that at the end, we will triumph in eternal life under his loving presence. As a consequence of his eternal splendor, God promises that we shall be rewarded with abundant growth and strength. Similar to our goals in life, we cannot achieve them if we will not go through the process of working hard for them. We suffer for nothing because, in the end, we are rewarded for our success over adversity. When everything is said and done, we can rest assured that our hard work has paid off and that it was all worthwhile.

-Gabrielle Arwen R. Bulaon
