Malaria is a disease that attacks and destroys red blood cells, normally leading to death. The disease is caused by a microscopic single-celled parasite, or protozoan, carried by the Anopheles Mosquito.
This mosquito then carries eggs with them that have bacteria, and when they suck blood out of humans they leave the eggs behind causing malaria to develop in the body. Mosquitoes also become carriers when they bite someone who already has Malaria and then bites another person.
Vaccinations are the most important we decided because since Africa is poor than most countries they can not afford as much necessities to be healthy. Food, Water and medical treatment are some examples. If we pitch in and help them with their healthcare then their immune systems will become stronger and the population will start to increase more slower.
With stronger Immune Systems it will help Africans to fight off Malaria and survive more often.

There are many problems that Africa is facing right now. Though these problems such as HIV/AIDS and Poaching can prove fatal to Africa's economy and community, Malaria is more serious and needs to be put above HIV/AIDS and poaching because it is the only "disease" that has a cure. Also, the amount of casualties each year from Malaria exceeds the HIV/AIDS and poaching by the millions.

HIV/AIDS
Though HIV/AIDS can be prevented, it cannot be cured. HIV/AIDS can be prevented through sexual education, protection, etc, but for everyone that already has HIV/AIDS, you cannot be much about. It is unreasonable to pursue this problem over Malaria because it will only benefit a limited people. To compare the two diseases, HIV kills approximately 170 people a day, which equals up to about 62,050 people a year. Malaria, on the other hand, kills about 1,000,000 each year, most of them being children under the age of 5. According to UNAIDS, worldwide there are 36.7 million people infected with HIV/AIDS as of 2016, and there are about 5,000 new infections a day. So by the end of 2018, about 3.65 million people will have contracted the disease. This leads to a final number of about 40 million people infected with HIV/AIDS as of 2018. with alone with HIV/Aids. With Malaria, 300-600 million people suffer from Malaria each year. That's 500 million more people than HIV/AIDS. With these stats, it is clear that Malaria is the more serious problem because of how many people are infected with Malaria and how many people die each year from Malaria.

Poaching
You cannot really call poaching a disease, but it is a problem with no cure. You cannot revive the animals that are already dead, but only help those you are still alive. One of the very few things you can really do about poaching is to create and enforce laws against illegal poaching, but there are already laws that protect certain species. Although these laws do exist, poaching still continues to happen to these animals. 1000 people die each year from protecting rhinos, compared to 1million people dying each year from Malaria.
