Hello my name is Nicholas L.

I am a rising junior, and I wish to learn and understand more about my country's history. I want to put this knowledge to use in both the academic and casual sense.

I was born in the Philippines (so yes I am Filipino) and moved to Hawaii when I was around 2 years old. After another 2 years, we moved to Texas and I jumped school districts for a while.

Some of my hobbies include reading novels, drawing digitally, and kickboxing.

I've read a lot of novels, both physical and digital, and I can say without a doubt that lotm (Lord of the Mysteries) has impressed me the most. I've been obsessed with this one for over 2 years now, so it goes without saying that I highly recommend giving it a read.

Favorite Videogame (Currently)

I don't usually play a lot of souls like games, but Elden Ring just hits different for me. I enjoy testing out different character builds and exploring the world. It's really something I could never get bored of.

I've honestly only had this once when I was in Korea last month, but this melon float thing was absolutely delectable. I'm still searching where to eat this.

Recent Trip to the Philippines

2 weeks ago I returned from my month long vacation in Asia. We started in Seoul, South Korea for a week, and then flew to the Philippines. Since we have a lot of family over there, we stayed at my Grandparents place for about 3 weeks. Our close family went island hopping which is an experience I 100% recommend to anyone who loves exploration. Overall the trip was great. I got to see family, swam at beautiful beaches, and had a very good time in general.

Summer Activities

After coming back from vacation, I'm currently going to the waterpark a lot with friends. I've been going to this one for over 8 years now, and it's still very enjoyable.

Favorite Manga

Although I mostly read novels, I do also read a variety of manga and manhwa. One Piece has always been special to me, and I think it deserves every last bit of praise it gets. A lot of the themes and characters really resonate with me, and I think everyone should at least give this one a try.
