One day, a big bad wolf came along. He went to the first pig’s house and said, “Little pig, little pig, let me come in!”
“Not by the hair on my chinny chin chin!” replied the pig.

So the wolf huffed and puffed and blew the straw house down. The little pig ran to his brother’s stick house.

The wolf followed and shouted again, “Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!”
“Not by the hair on our chinny chin chins!” they cried.

The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down. The two pigs ran to their brother’s brick house.

The wolf arrived at the brick house and demanded to be let in. Again the pigs refused. The wolf huffed and puffed, but no matter how hard he blew, the brick house stood firm.

Angry, the wolf tried another trick. He climbed onto the roof and slid down the chimney. But the clever third pig had a pot of boiling water waiting. The wolf tumbled in and ran away, never to bother the pigs again.

Safe at last, the three pigs lived together in the strong brick house, happy and secure, knowing the wolf could never harm them again.
