It takes millions of years for fossil fuels to form. non-renewable are bad for the environment. nuclear energy is also non-renewable energy because its made from uranium. which is limited.

non-renewable energy souses can not be replenished very quickly if at all while renewable energy souses can be replenished very quickly. Another difference is that non-renewable energy souses leave a bigger carbon footprint than renewable energy souses. Most non-renewable energy souses are fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. renewable energy souses come from plants, solar, hydroelectric, and geothermal. Some energy resources are inexhaustible like solar energy and hydroelectric (water) energy.
