With this experiment, we cannot blind our participants. This is because they will know what type of music they’re listening to. They will also be going to the same school and will be able to talk about what group they are in. We also cannot double blind since it is a small team and we will know what music everyone is listening to if any.

In order to make sure the lurking variables do not affect the outcome of this experiment, we paired the individuals in groups based off of GPA and Study habits. From there, we randomly chose individuals from each group to make sure that there was not a group full of higher GPA students and ones filled with lower GPA students as this may lower the average test score of the groups and not portray an accurate outcome.
