They believe that we must accept that undergoing children's rights to read is an issue of equality, and it also opens up a world of possibilities for them. Not only does it help build their ability to have creative and critical thinking, but also helps expand their ability to respond with empathy and compassion. The article also states, "It promotes children's positive attitude towards reading habits."

Lastly, children have the right to choose what they read, "as it indicates intellectual engagement with the act of reading." As children begin to develop their literacy skills, they also learn language that identifies size, temperature, and other concepts that help them interact with their surroundings. I think it is important for me to have a passion to teach younger grade students how to read as it is a big part of their life. We all read different things every day without realizing it, and after reading about this organization, I realize that we take our abilities to read for granted. Every student should have the same equal opportunity to read, as it builds their confidence and independence.
