After the U.S ban on further importation of slaves. selling them became very profitable. This caused small farm owners in Virginia to start selling there slaves further south and west. eventually over cultivation lead to slave owners wanting to move to Texas and further west in order to continue there way of life. - A.F.</div>]]></description>
