Okulumuz Konya'nın en uzak ilçelerinden biri olan Çeltik'te olup ilçenin en büyük ve en kalabalık okuludur. Okulumuz İlçenin Honamlı Mahalle'sinde yer aldığından ismini buradan almış olup ortaokulla beraber 250 öğrencisi mevcuttur. Mahallede okuma oranı yüksek olup velilerin öğrencilerine ve okula ilgisi oldukça yüksektir. Bu da gerek sınavlarda gerek bilgi yarışmalarında başarı getirmektedir. Okulumuz 2015 yılı Konya geneli bilgi yarışmasında Konya genelinde 1 .sırada tamamlayıp çok büyük bir başarı kazanmıştır.Daha sonraki yıllarda da Konya'da yine finallere kalmıştır.

Okulun Tarihçesi ve Yapısı:

Okulumuz 1993 yılında eğitim öğretime açılmıştır. Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü tarafından okulumuzun ismi Kurtuluş Savaşı’nın kahraman komutanlarından ve ülkemizde Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK ile birlikte “Mareşallik” rütbesinin iki sahibinden biri olan “Mareşal Fevzi ÇAKMAK” olarak belirlenmiştir. 2000 yılında ek bina yapımına başlanmış ve tamamlanmıştır.

Okulumuz hakkında
Anasınıfımız okulumuzun açılışından beri mevcut olup 4 derslik şeklinde düzenlenmiştir. Okulumuzda 41 adet derslik , 1 adet akıl ve zeka oyunları sınıfı , 1 adet Harezmi projesi uygulama sınıfı mevcuttur.
Ayrıca okulumuzda 1 adet çok amaçlı salon, 1 adet rehberlik servisi, 1 adet müdür odası, 4 adet müdür yardımcısı odası, 1 adet öğretmenler odası ve 1639 kitaplık bir z-kütüphane bulunmaktadır. 4+4+4 Eğitim Sisteminden dolayı Okulumuz kademeli olarak İlkokula dönüşmüştür. Our school was opened to education in 1993. The name of our school has been determined by the Directorate of National Education as "Marshal Fevzi ÇAKMAK", one of the hero commanders of the War of Independence and one of the two holders of the "Marshal" rank in our country, together with Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK. In 2000, additional building construction was started and completed.

Turks residing in Balcıhöyük Village of Bulgaria immigrated from this village in 1928 and settled in the farm belonging to Firuz Ağa, located on the shore of Küçükçekmece Lake.

However, due to the fact that the shore of the lake was mud and it was not suitable for settlement, they migrated upwards and settled in the vicinity of our current school and our school was named after Firuz Ağa. The name of the settlement area was also called Firuzköy. In the same year, a village coffee house was rented by the villagers for three years and it was decided to use it as a primary school.

By adopting the letter revolution of the head teacher Atatürk as a principle, teaching started with Latin letters. In the 1931-1932 academic year, the villagers built a two-storey, five-classroom masonry building in the village center using the imece method, and educational activities were continued in this building.

Firstly, Captain Kazım Bey, who was a veteran in Çanakkale, was assigned as a teacher to our school, and then Hilmi Ünal continued his teaching duty. Ali Karay, who gave its first graduates in 1936, graduated from our school and graduated from Kepirtepe Primary School, worked as a head teacher in our school for many years. Our school, which dates back to the first years of the foundation of the Republic, has trained elders working in various regions of our country.

In the 1981/1982 academic year, it moved to the building we are in now. It was strengthened in accordance with the earthquake regulations in the academic year of 2002-2003. Within the scope of the more effective and efficient implementation of 12-year compulsory education in basic education (primary school - secondary school), it was transformed from primary education to primary school with the approval of the Governor's Office on 24/06/2013.

Our school continues its education and training activities in unity and harmony with all its stakeholders.
