Russia runs by a threefold environment. Russians depend on their environment for food and water. If they didn't depend on their environment for food, then they would raise crops to get food. Nevertheless, not grow crop.
Because the people that live in Russia have to deal with the cold climate, they have to adapt to the environment. They have to adjust to the cold weather in Russia. Russians have to modify the land through mining and pollution. They build a community by building houses, buildings, and many more. Russians adapt to the cold climate there and pass down a certain gene that helps them withstand the cold weather there.
The weather in Russia is very cold. Because the climate is this way, you would not normally see people in Russia walk around in a tank top and shorts. You would see people walk around in what we call winter clothes, a puffy jacket and snow boots. In Russia, it is normally 46 degrees fahrenheit, which equals to about eight degrees celsius. That is how weather in late winter is for us in New York. Russia is far from the equator, which means it has a cold climate. If Russia was closer to the equator, the climate would have been warmer. In the picture on the above, everyone is seen wearing winter apparel, including hats and jackets. Because the climate in Russia is cold, walking around in summer attire is something you do not see there quite often. In Russia, the cold climate causes them to dress warmly and stay warm to prevent sickness. In their houses they most likely have heaters to keep them warm.

In Moscow, Russia's capital, the temperature can range from in hotter months being around 65 degrees fahrenheit and in colder months can drop to approximately 18 degrees. Their hottest month is July, when the temperature can go up to about 65 degrees fahrenheit. The coldest month there is January, when the temperature drops to 18 degrees fahrenheit. In Russia, the month of September is when they get the most sunlight, which can average up to 12 hours of sunshine daily. Russia's climate is different than our climate, because over here when it is 65 degrees, it is usually late fall or early spring. In Russia, this climate is considered hot weather. When it's 18 degrees here in New York, it is considered very cold.

Sources
-
weather.com
-

The people living near the mountains have a few beliefs. One of the beliefs is that a Uralian tribe, that used to live near the mountains titled the mountains. Another belief is that the word came from an origin word from Turkic, which means stone made belt.
Formed late in the carboniferous period the Ural Mountains are 300 million years old. It is home to Siberia and Ukraine, some of the more well known parts of Russia.

Russia’s official language is, of course, Russian. Most of Europe speaks Russian because of the country’s large size though Russia belongs to both Europe and Asia. Russia faces economic and political issues. An example of an economical issue that Russia faces is trade. A flaw in Russian trade could be that Russia is unable to trade freely. Unlike the United States, Russia is not included in agreements like NAFTA. Therefore cannot trade freely as the acronym may suggest. However, some politicians believe that NAFTA was a bad idea and that Russian trade does not have this flaw. The government can be concerned about this issue, making it a political issue. This impacts the region because it affects what resources they have. For example, someone in Siberia trades oil with someone in Mongolia. This affects the amount of oil in Siberia

Russia has mountainous, tundra, and desert land, as the map suggests, whether in the north of Russia, where it is cold, or the south, home to mountains, or in the southwest, which houses deserts.
Russia is home to over 140 million people and the population increases each year. The map at the top displays Russia’s population through the independent states.

Sources
-
http://novaonline.nvcc.edu/eli/evans/Photos/Russia/Maps/Map1987a.jpg
-

http://www.nationmaster.com/country-info/compare/Russia/United-States/Geography
-

https://www.quora.com/If-77-of-Russia-is-in-Asia-why-is-it-considered-to-be-an-European-country
