How do you get inspired by the movie? muniandypremanitha https://padlet.com/muniandypremanitha/urnofrbh6ne1r6mz/wish/1473960780 “Change comes from confrontation.” That is what I believe to be one of the main messages that this movie wanted to portray.  In my opinion, one of the best scenes from this movie is when the fight scenes took place in the Roman Coliseum. It took tremendous courage to walk out into the Coliseum and be ready to face whatever came your way. This was something Maximus repeatedly demonstrated throughout the film. Maximus was not afraid to face difficulties in his life. He not only faced obstacles, but he also organised the few men he had working with him to always to come up with the victory every single time. His incredible leadership and heroism defied a cruel tyrant and transformed a nation's civilization. This has inspired me the most as I have learned that in order to have a better results in whatever we are doing, we need to be brave and step outside the box of mediocrity, confronting changes. I believe that by willing to confront change, it will help us to move forward and become better professionals and better personalities, and that's why even small variations in life can make us look at others and oneself differently and can bring us joy and life satisfaction.

Secondly, I’m so concern about environmental changes that happening now which affected lot of animals and also human life. Hence, to help to reduce this issue globally, I will spread awareness about this issue to everyone using social platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. More likely, I will do a campaign with the support of youngsters on this serious issue to collect fund and give to some related environmental organization. This would help to make the world to be in a better place. Thirdly, I will learn more about other cultures, faiths, ideas, languages, people, and history. It will make me to gain more knowledge on understand about others belief and values rather than just focused on our belief. This is because, when we open our mind to learn others cultures, values and language, it will help us to build self confident to overcome issues such as fear to talk to others, difficulties to find more friends and sharing ideas. Hence, I encourage everyone to learn other people cultures, belief and language in order to respect them. If we do this together, sure we can make the world to be in a better place and live a peaceful life.

For  a leader, verbal communication plays a more important role than written communication as interaction between employees, individuals occurs every day. Verbal communication also involves face to face communication with people and a spontaneous process rather than a delayed process such as writing which takes time for the information or message to be processed which delays necessary actions. Verbal communication also enables us to form a closer bond with the people as we talk to them or converse with them. It starts slowly then the conversation becomes interesting where we’ll get to know about each other better which fosters understanding. Verbal communication helps to inspire people and galvanise them to become a part of something. It is through speeches by great leaders such as Winston Churchill, Barack Obama, Adolf Hitler, Martin Luther King changed the world and inspired people to be a part of something big. Hence, I feel comfortable to communicate verbally because I believe words especially when it’s directed to someone can make an impact whether it is good or worse. 

I respond to criticism by accepting it. Criticisms, especially constructive criticisms are meant to improve us by fixing our shortcomings. Acknowledging the criticisms and accepting it is the key to self improvement because when we believe that we are good we fail to go further and discover more opportunities and more ways to improve ourselves. Next, I respond to criticism by asking more questions so that I can get answers and advice to improve myself. Often, people who criticise have a perception about us or have an idea on how we could improve ourselves. Sometimes these people could be very successful. Asking more questions helps me to understand the area of improvements that I need to do. Finally, I respond to criticism by becoming an active listener. Reacting before listening can lead to disaster so I truly listen so that I can capture the criticisms or feedback that a person is trying to convey so that I can make use of it. Finally, I respond to criticism by smiling. Sometimes certain people criticise you with an intention of bringing you down. Rather than expressing disappointment or frustration, wearing a smile allows us to relax our mind and accept the criticisms thrown with an open heart.

I firmly believe that  good communication is the key.  As long as there is a good communication exists, we can always discuss among us and could avoid any big issues arise from the very beginning.

In order to be a good leader, I will show them how much they could actually rely on me. A good leader must be an good example to their followers. Integrity is a value that believe we must be honest, acting consistently based on our ethical principles. 

The reason why I believe that integrity is most important value as a leader is because I believe only when the leader demonstrates high integrity on his leadership, he can influence and create a group of subordinates who will respect and obey his leadership. It is because integrity leaders have a clear understanding of the beliefs and values that they need to possessed and they can act based on the those values. A leader who doesn’t have integrity will not gain respect from his subordinate because his action and words are not consistent. 

On the other hand, integrity is also important for us to build our society. Integrity is a kind of sincere and honest attitude that people should possessed while dealing with others and. Its basic requirements are to speak the truth, and be an honest person. A society that lead by a leader without integrity will be in a mess. When people in a society do not believe in what their leaders said, we will loss trust between people and leaders. At that time, it will be very hard for us to work together because there is no more trust between us and our leaders.
