I don't have enough background when it comes to studying their language, and I don't usually watch Chinese movies, or read Chinese literature. On the other hand, I still want to learn the language, because I know that it can help me in the future, especially when it comes to career opportunities. I fear that because I am kind of a "slow learner", I will have a hard time picking up pronunciations, tones, and Chinese characters. 

Hopefully, everyone in this class will support and guide each other in learning the language with patience and kindness, so no one will be left behind. 

I expect that everyone in this semester will have lots of fun. :)

STUDY TIPS 101:

🐼 PRACTICE! PRACTICE! PRACTICE!
🐼 Remind yourself of your goal (s). (Why do I have to study Chinese language?)
🐼  Watch YT vids, listen to audiobooks, read the textbook, even little by little, until you get it.
🐼 If frustrated and you're not getting the lessons easily, always be kind to yourself. Take your time, and be patient.
