The sedan was driven by Wolfgang Ebell. He then brutally tortured the women then shot in the sides of the head and left them for dead on the side of the highway. They were found around twilight on April 3. He was looking for money at the time that he murdered them and he knew they would be the perfect way to get it without trying. He knew their route and most likely when they would be leaving. Wolfgang was very soft-spoken and well educated.
