<title>I chose rigor and relevance. Normally we only hold students accountable for knowing and having some understanding of new information. However, I believe that in order for something to have true educational value we have to have them go the extra steps of being able to know how to actually use and benefit personally from the information. This is much more rigorous and demanding of both the students and the teacher because it shifts the focus from the concept to the benefit of the concepts being taught. </title>

<title>Rigorous and Relevant - Its easier to teach and challenge children when you can connect it to their interest. For example if a child is interested in money you can teach all levels of the DOK using money. </title>
