A difference is that junk food is something you can touch and junk food is also something you can taste.  But the internet comes from a device and the internet also is not something you can feel or touch.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One thing that the article "Is the Internet Bad for Your Health?" and the article "Warning!  Junk foods can harm a teen's brain." have in common is that they both tackle major problems in our society such as internet addiction and junk food impact on the body. Another thing they have in common is that they both explain how their topic can harm you as seen throughout both of the articles. One thing that is different between the articles is that they focus on different age groups and parts of the body. The article  "Is the Internet Bad for Your Health?"  focus on all of the age groups and body parts while the article "Warning!  Junk foods can harm a teen's brain." focus on people the ages 13-19 also known as teens and their brains. Another difference between them is their format. "Warning!  Junk foods can harm a teen's brain." is written as a story while  "Is the Internet Bad for Your Health?" is just a lot of little facts put together.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One similarity that the article Warning! Junk food can harm teen's brains? And the article Is the internet bad for your health have in common is that they are both describing a danger. On page 1 of the article Is internet bad for your health? says Research has shown a potential link between pathological internet use and ADHD and depression. The article "Warning! Junk Food can Harm teen's brains says Junk food shapes adolescent brains in ways that impair their ability to think, learn, and remember." on page 1. These pieces of text are both stating a thing of danger or harm that effects a persons body. Another similarity that they have is that they both only use facts to support there central idea. A difference that the two articles have is that the Article Is The Internet Bad For Your Health Gives a fact that people are trying to solve the problem unlike the Article Warning! Junk food can harm teen's brains who just states why their problem is dangerous. On page 1 the article Is internet bad for your health says, "Internet addiction isn't currently classified as a mental health  disorder, although American Psychiatric Association        has recommended more research on the subject so that could change" This gives us a solution to the problem and how it's working. The last difference that they have is that the Article Warning! Junk food can harm teen's brains stretches out way more facts onto three pages while the article Is internet bad for your health only does one concise page.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>These articles have many similarities and differences. First they both talk about how something can harm your health. There also both written it inform the reader about something. In "Warning!  Junk food can harm a teen's brain" This shows how there informing someone on the health hazards of junk food, "Junk food shapes adolescent brains in ways that impair their ability to think, learn and remember" Some differences between them are. First ones about junk food and the other is about internet addictions. Next, "is the internet bad for your heath?" has a different layout Than  "Warning!  Junk food can harm a teen's brain" because it is just a lot of small sections and bubbles of short facts.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>There are a few similarities between the article "Warning! Junk Food Can Harm Teens Brains," and," Is The Internet Bad For Your Health?" One of these similarities include that both authors wrote these articles to both warn and inform the readers about the addictions that can cause major brain damage mainly to teens. On pg.1 of Warning! Junk Food Can Harm Teens Brain, It says,"Junk food shapes adolescent brains in ways that impair their ability to think."In the article Is The Internet Bad for your Health it says," It is average that 5 percent- 10 percent of internet users are addicted, and can cause lack of sleep." Both of these articles explain how the addiction effects that the internet and junk food have on us can harm us and cause less sleep, which is bad for your health, and it can impair our ability to think. Another thing that these articles have in common is that they both talk about the most severe effect caused by junk food, or Internet addiction. On pg.3 of Warning! Junk Food Can Harm Teens Brain, it says," People with brain diseases (such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder) often have lower levels of reelin." ( low levels of reelin is caused by eating to much junk food) In the article Is The Internet Bad For Your Health? it says," Research has shown a link between pathological internet use and ADHD and depression." As you can see both articles used the most severe problems caused by internet addiction or junk food addiction and used them to warn and maybe scare people to not spend to much time on those things. There are also a few differences between the two articles. One article/ Warning! Junk Food Can Harm Teens Brains, explains how to solve the junk food addiction and makes a clear point and facts to explain to the reader how to live a healthier lifestyle, while the article Is the Internet Bad For Your Health just overwhelms the reader with statistics. Another difference between the two articles is that there formatted different, the article Is The Internet Bad For Your Health? uses a short blurb of stats, while the article Warning! Junk Food Can Harm Teens Brain uses a formal fact bases paragraph article to inform the reader.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>One similarity I saw between the two articles was that they both talked about the development of the brain an how it affects our body. Another similarity i saw was that internet and "screen time" is limited most of the time, so is junk food. One difference i saw was internet also affects your eyes, most junk foods do not affect your eyes. Another difference I saw was that the internet is very popular and the majority of people of people are on the internet more than on a Junk Food diet. the estimate i found was around 85 to 90 people are on the internet and only around 46 percent of the world on a "Junk Food" diet.</div>]]></description>

" A resent study showed that in some cases, several small regions in the brains of online addicts and junk food. " Another similarity between them is that they can both cause really bad things to your body including: Bad posture, Eye strain, And not getting enough sleep. It states under eye strain that your cornea could go bad. A diffrence is that the internet or so being on your computer for a long time slouching could give you a disorder and junk food can't do that. Junk food can cause a really bad addiction and could really hurt you.</div>]]></description>
