Ponyboy doesnt like his new hair but has to live with it. That night the two boys had started to cry. They were sad because they are scared of running from the cops. The next couple of days Ponyboy and johnny have been smoking there cancer sticks reading call of the wild and eating baloney. Soon they notice that Dally comes to visit them with a letter from two bit. They catch up with each other and go out to eat. Dally then tells them that there is kind of a war in the town of that.
