It was extremely eye opening learning about the variety of positions that can be pursued in engineering and how each person ended up in their current position at Stryker. I enjoyed seeing the different tests that are performed such as the one that simulates people sitting down and moving on a bed. I really enjoyed learning about all the different branches of engineering, and seeing how Stryker employs all different kinds of engineers. My personal favorite part of the tour was seeing the test lab and learning about all the different ways Stryker and its engineers are able to test each of their products. Seeing how big and open the workforce is has me looking forward to my own future in engineering. My favorite part of the tour was the Test Lab and learning about how R&D sends the potential tests to the workers there. Witnessing how all of the machines are programmed and follow through was amazing.
