He has loved dancing his whole life and made it a point that he would pursue his dream to be a professional hip-hop dancer no matter the circumstance. With several friends, he used to dance underground as well as in a studio. However, that group of friends had a fallout and Howon took that as his cue to move to Seoul to make new friends and chase after his life-long dream. He's quite cold initially, but to certain people during the first meeting, his warmth seeps through. Once breaking down those walls, Hoya is lovable, fun to be around, and an absolute joy. When it comes to dancing, he can be a bit arrogant, always wanting to show off what he can do and the skills he's developed throughout his life, feeling as if he's better than others. Hoya comes from an okay family whose bond was strong before he didn't come home one day. He still speaks to his mom, but his relationship with his father is on the rocks.

Hoya's a closeted bisexual. Simple. Most of his relationships are strictly female, but he can't help raking his eyes up and down particularly hot males and wondering what it would be like to kiss all the cute ones. This guy in particular helps Hoya come to terms with his sexuality and come out of the closet. He'll do whatever it takes.

~ Dancing With Myself. (Male/Female)
Due to usually being reserved, Hoya finds himself dancing alone in the late hours of the night. Someone - not particularly a dance major, catches him. Embarrassed, he tries to leave, but the other encourages him to keep dancing and even ends up dancing with them. They grow close this way and Hoya no longer wishes to dance alone.

~ Rivalry. (Male/Female)
Someone Hoya used to dance with underground, but they had a fallout due to increased ego. Here in Keimyung they reunite, and their rivalry is burning - trying to out dance each other in talent shows, showing off their moves as much as they can. Do they get along in the end?
