5,000 tons of tomatoes from Turkey were stranded at the Russian border. Turkey began to export agricultural products like tomatoes to Russia after it was reported that Russia was going to raise the quota of Turkey’s tomato imports from 50,000 tons to 200,000 tons. No official statement was made by Russia, so 5,000 tons of tomatoes left at the Russian border to rot. This relates to this unit because it talks about Turkey’s agricultural exports.
