The first hundred Days- of Franklin D. Roosevlts presidence the congress passed 15 major pieces of New Deal legislation.  FDR started the FDIC to regulate banking and investment activities. Social sercuity was created one of the most important legacies of the New Deal. The Tennesse Valley Athourity harnessd the water power.
