I would play "school" and create fake lesson plans for my siblings. Since I am the oldest out of 5 children, I was also the one to help my younger siblings with homework and overall curriculum. I have never felt a passion of mine until I started student teaching. Being in the classroom and seeing all the students faces just puts a smile on my face. I feel extremely fortunate to have my family close as a support system. I moved to Humboldt county for 4 years to attend Humboldt State University. I recently just graduated from Humboldt State University with my bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies-Child Development in Fall 2020. I have worked over 120 hours in the Child Development lab on the HSU campus. I am here at Pacific Oaks College to receive my Multiple Subject Credential Program and master's degree.
