Micro-action 2: Remembering Home through Music by https://padlet.com/zijpdione/uqpq4qupwdl0mgpv for this micro-action, Gabriel, Luka, Anja and me created a living-room space in Dining Hall Main in which we invited people to sit with us, talk, and play a song that reminds them of 'home'. Music can translate a lot of things: for many, certain songs remind them of a feeling of 'being at home'. Here, home can mean anything: family, friends, a place, or a house. Fellow students played songs that reminded them of Christmas, how their parents met, or something that they deemed 'culturally significant'. These songs, together, we compiled into a playlist that all UCU Students can add to: this way, we create an online environments in which students are reminded of their own homes, and introduced to the 'homes' of others.
