In reality, CDs are still being sold and people still buy them. (CDs are collector's items)
Myth: You need a good voice.
In reality, you don't need a good voice because most people that make it, just have money.
Myth: You don't need looks.
In reality, they don't care if you have a good voice, they would rather judge you by the way you look.
Myth: You will get rich signing a big record deal.
In reality, it depends what they think. If they think that you are good, then you have a chance of making a lot of money $$$$$$$.

Reality: Cds are dead. Not many people buy them anymore, because now a days, many people just download songs or listen to them on YouTube. 

Myth: talent and talent only breed success 

Reality: This is a myth because in our day and age all you need is looks, we have auto tune now it is very easy to fix someone's pitch and their voice using a computer. All you need to make it is good looks and auto tune.

In reality it's NOT ONLY about the music. Nowadays it's about your looks, how good your auto tune is and what kind of publicity you get. Not every musician has talent. Some are in the industry because of their looks. There are many TALENTED people who can ACTUALLY sing/compose music. Rather then hiring those who are TALENTED they hire those who are good looking. 

Myth 2: Talent and talent only, breeds success

Ha nope. People now aren't really talented as they are only there for their looks.
